Lavender Salve

Ingredients:

Olive Oil Infused with Dried Lavender Flowers: We grow the Lavender Flowers right in our own backyard.  Hand picking the flower heads in the evening after the Bees have had their fill of pollen and nectar. Then we dry the flowers in our dehydrator. We submerge the flowers in High Quality Cold Pressed Olive Oil for 4-6 weeks before straining and using the infused oil in our Salves. 70% dry herb/L of oil 

Beeswax: Living in Elora, Ontario we purchase our beeswax in bulk from the Tri City Bee Rescue. A great organization that rescues and relocates beehives that have decided to make home in areas that might not be the most ideal.

Vitamin E Oil: DI-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, this is an extra that we decided to add to our salve as it helps boost the skin healing qualities of the overall salve.

Lavender Essential Oil: Lavandula Angustifolia , 100% pure lavender oil, steam distilled from flowering tops.

Use:

• Lip balm or hand lotion

• Night time or relaxing lotion to be applied on the wrists and/or behind the ears

• Bedtime routine lotion for babies

Use the back of your nail to lightly skim the surface of the salve, then heat up by rubbing the salve between your fingers or palms before applying it to the affected area.
