Lorryn Sepe

Playing in college is something I have always dreamed of and has been my biggest goal for years. I used to be a four sport athlete, playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball, but I have narrowed it down to just two of my best, soccer and softball. I believe in myself as being adaptable, that I am hard-working, and I have always put forth my best effort.  While, I enjoy my other sport, I've always considered a special love for softball. It can be easy for a person to take things into their own hands and not to play as a team in other sports where as in softball, every person has to be able to contribute to the team.  I'm a true believer, that in order to excel at any sport, you can't restrict yourself to one position. As of now I put forth my effort in the outfield and other positions that I'm needed. 

Just like my athletics, I've always tried my best in pushing myself to get to higher levels with academics. I like to compare playing sports with academics because when teams look forward to playing lower-level teams to get an easy win and get annoyed when playing higher-level teams it shows a different side. Winning means nothing if you get nothing out of it, and playing against better people will help you and your team get better in the long-run. This exact thing can be said for when it comes to academics. Instead of taking some classes that have lower expectations, try pushing yourself to get to become an AP student for the future.

I would like to continue my academic career working in the FBI and criminologist work force. Although if that does not work out becoming a physical therapist is something I would also enjoy. I am in two clubs, CAP and SADD, along with helping out my community in any way. I am a very diligent person who puts all of their time into what I strive for most. I keep my expectations high, so I know what I have to work towards.
