Hi! I work as a Senior Science Officer at CESSDA ERIC. I analyse open science/data trends and advise on research data management in the European Research Area.

In the last 4 years, I worked as a Research Officer at the International Labour Organization (ILO). I collaborated with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Microsoft Research to study topics on child labour, forced labour, and human trafficking. I published synthetic datasets, reports, self-paced e-learning materials, and online tools.

Aside from my current work, my main research interests are migration, labour, and development economics. I completed my PhD in economics at University College Dublin. My dissertation covers topics in the economics of migration and labour economics - focusing on the returns to human capital of asylum seekers and refugees in Switzerland.

Please find my most recent short CV here. I am open to collaborating! Feel free to contact me at lorrainewongmw[at]gmail[dot]com.
