Hi! My name is Lorenzo (he/him). I am a Postdoc at KTH in the ACT division under the supervision of Petter Brändén.

In November 2023, I have obtained my Phd at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Bologna under the supervision of Luca Moci and Luca Migliorini.

My thesis was on The Combinatorics of Hilbert-Poincaré series of matroids.

I am broadly interested in the interplay between Combinatorics, Algebraic Geometry and Representation Theory. In particular, I have been recently thinking about matroids, Chow rings, Kazhdan-Lusztig-Stanley polynomials and posets, valuative invariants in polytopes and equivariant versions of these.
