I am Lorenzo Pinna. In July 2025, I obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the Doctoral program of the Tuscan Universities (Florence, Pisa, Siena).
I am currently in the Economics department of the University of Pisa (Italy).
My research interests encompasses human behavior across various situations. For instance, I am currently following research on consumption of digital goods, and purchasing choices. Also, on this dimension I am interested on how interaction through networks shapes economic behavior in terms of Inequality (particularly through consumption), and how phenomenons such as Tourism affect demographics (e.g. Fertility Choices, Social Capital).
Throughout these years, I had the fortune of visiting various places. For instance, in the last eight years I lived in Szczecin (PL); Barcelona (ESP); Addis Abeba (ETH); Middlebury(VT, US); Bruxelles (BE); and Castellòn De La Plana (ESP) outside of Italy, and Teulada, Cagliari, Siena, Firenze (IT).
