We are a voluntary neighborhood association who owns park space off Henderson Pass Rd in San Antonio, Texas.
Our amenities include: 1/5 mile crushed granite walking trail edged by trees and grasslands, a swing set, a community garden with 18 garden boxes for 6-12 gardeners to enjoy, a picnic table under a large oak tree, stationary bodyweight workout equipment, Pokestops and Geocache locations, a Little Free Library, wildlife, and an apiary to help pollinate the garden and surrounding plants in a three mile radius.
Our nearly 3 acre space is owned by the neighborhood association and taken care of on an entirely volunteer basis to make a serene place for humans and animals alike. Please come by to enjoy our special place!
All are welcome to play and relax in the preserve or to garden in our community garden. We host: two meetings a year in September and January, preserve, neighborhood and creek cleanups, and social events to help neighbors get to know each other. If you're a neighbor or nearby nature enthusiast, please join our group, Friends of the Lorence Creek Preserve.
