Effective learning requires a collaboration between students, teachers and parent/guardians grounded in mutual respect and trust.
I will strive to provide a safe, intriguing, interactive and diverse environment that my students will be able to grow and adapt in.
As an educator, I will establish an environment where my students feel excited
and welcomed to voice their opinion while learning.
I believe that as a teacher, I should always be encouraged to learn from my students just as
much as students aspire to learn from me.
I believe that not all learning takes place in
textbooks and that learning also takes place by real life experience, hands on activities and
interaction.
I believe that assessments are not for memorization but rather for understanding content.
I believe that educators have a major impact on students and their lives after attending
our classrooms.
I believe that their experiences in our classroom should be favorable in their
learning and in their growth as a student, as well as my growth as an educator.
