This page explains what happens to information when you visit the Loopless Mind website. The unLooper app has its own privacy policy, summarised further down.
Loopless Mind is built and hosted on Google Sites. When you load a page, your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages requested, as well as set cookies needed to deliver and secure the service. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy. The publisher does not control how Google processes this data.
The site may use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how it is used: for example, how many visits it receives, which countries visitors come from, which pages are read and which outbound links are clicked, such as a link to the App Store. We use these figures to decide which guides to improve or write next. We look at aggregate reports only; we do not try to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine analytics data with other information about you.
You can limit analytics by using your browser's privacy settings, blocking cookies or using a content blocker. The site works the same way if you do.
We do not sell, rent or trade visitor data.
There are no user accounts, sign-ups, newsletters or comment sections on the site, so we do not collect names, email addresses or other personal details through it.
We do not run advertising on Loopless Mind.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to read and reply to you, and to make corrections or improvements you suggest. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your message with third parties. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.
Our guides link to research papers, public-health organisations and the App Store. Once you follow a link, the other website's own privacy practices apply.
The unLooper app is a separate product with its own privacy policy at unlooper.brainosia.com/privacy. Please read that policy for full details. In summary:
Your reflections, thought maps, decisions, mood check-ins and night notes are stored on your device by default. The developer does not run a server that holds this personal content.
The app contains no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking tools.
AI features are optional. Only when you tap an AI feature is the text of that request sent to a third-party AI provider (OpenRouter) to generate a response.
Purchases are handled by Apple. Subscriptions are validated through RevenueCat using a random identifier.
You can export your data as a JSON file or delete all of it from the app's Settings.
If you have any question about privacy on this website or in the unLooper app, or want to make a request about your information, please use our contact form. If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
