What is LoopLens?
LoopLens is an iOS app that converts still photos into looping video animations with professional motion effects. It gives static images life through cinematic movements like zooming, drifting, and panning.
How does the motion effect work?
Select any photo, choose a motion template or customize your own, and the app creates smooth animated frames that loop seamlessly. You see the result playing in real-time before exporting.
What formats can I export?
Videos export as MP4 files in your choice of 720p, 1080p, or 4K quality. You can also create optimized GIF animations. Multiple aspect ratios support different social platforms.
Can I use my own watermark?
Yes, the watermark is fully customizable. Add any text you want and choose from ten preset colors including white, black, red, blue, green, yellow, purple, pink, orange, and cyan.
Does this work offline?
Everything processes directly on your iPhone or iPad. No internet connection is needed to create loops, though you will need connectivity to share them online afterward.
Which iOS version do I need?
LoopLens requires iOS 16.6 or later. It runs on both iPhone and iPad devices.
How long does export take?
Export time varies by video length, quality setting, and device speed. A typical three-second loop at 1080p takes five to ten seconds. Higher resolutions and longer durations need more processing time.
Are there motion templates?
Seven professionally designed templates come included covering zoom effects, horizontal drifts, romantic movements, and cinematic panning. Each template can be further customized to your taste.
Can I adjust the loop speed?
Duration controls let you set loops from one to ten seconds long. Faster loops create more energetic effects while slower ones feel more contemplative.
What photo sources work?
Import from your photo library, capture directly with the camera, or browse files from iCloud Drive and other storage locations. Recent photos appear automatically for quick selection.
Does the blur effect work on the whole image?
The blur applies uniformly across the image with adjustable intensity from zero to thirty. Future updates may add selective masking for foreground and background separation.
What aspect ratios are available?
Choose from 9:16 for vertical stories, 1:1 for square posts, 16:9 for landscape videos, or 4:5 for portrait Instagram feed posts.
Will this drain my battery quickly?
Processing uses device resources intensively during export but normal browsing and previewing consume minimal power. Export on a charger for longer sessions with multiple videos.
Can I save my custom settings?
Motion parameter adjustments can be applied immediately but preset saving functionality is planned for a future release. Each session starts fresh currently.
Is my data private?
All processing happens locally on your device. The app never uploads your photos to external servers or collects personal information. What you create stays yours alone.
