That is the feeling my app Lookout 5o intends to inspire in you by the earning your appreciation for the vigilant watch it keeps over you with alerts to the nearby presence of emergency responders -- police, fire and paramedics.
Why be concerned with the arrival of emergency responders? In truth, our safety depends upon them. Yet they inadvertently endanger the public in the commission of their duties as they do not obey the same rules of the road as the rest of us do. Some also carry lethal force. Simply put: Being well informed and more aware of your surroundings and the potential dangers that it might contain confers options that the victim of unfortunate circumstance only wishes they ever had.
Yet my app is much more than a mere danger detector: it vigilantly remains looking out for you and your best interests without compromising your anonymity, without collecting any personal data or selling such. Privacy / data policies like mine are hard to come by as standard business practice is to collect and sell information about you just because you use an app. In pursuing a divergent path from what is standard business practice I hope to have your trust from the get-go; I intend to subsequently earn your amazement, praise and even adoration for the unique functionalities my app reliably provides. In addition to alerting you to potential threats to your life, safety, and liberty my app also identifies potential compromises to your privacy and the integrity and content of your communications with the free Sentinel service.
The new Beacon service further watches out for you by providing a 'crisis button' of sorts. Having preconfigured it with the names and phone numbers of your loved ones and friends, one click is all it takes to instantly give everyone notice of your GPS location and that you are unable to communicate under the circumstances. Rather than suffer wondering where you are and what happened to you, how would it make your loved ones feel to receive a text message with your GPS location. Better that they were informed than to suffer wondering where you are and what happened to you... Whether you have configured it for one family member or friend -- or one hundred -- it all happens with one click on the 'CRISIS' button on the control tab in the app.
My name is Frank, and my life experiences have taught me personally, repetitiously that I am nobody special. Unlike the average person I did find no good cause to resist an apparent truth and so I made it my focus to learn to make other people feel special, rather than to resist what remained obvious in trying to believe that I myself am anyone special or better in any way than anyone else.

For nobody is immune to suffering in this world, nor gets out of here alive, nor will take any of their possessions with them when they leave, as we all must.
