Longsnap is a Chrome extension that captures full-page screenshots of
the active tab. This policy explains what data it handles.
Longsnap captures the visible content of the web page you choose to
screenshot, stitches it into a single image or PDF, and saves it as a
file on your computer or copies it to your clipboard — only when you
click the toolbar icon or use the keyboard shortcut.
Longsnap does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. It does
not use analytics or tracking of any kind. It has no servers, no user
accounts, and no third-party integrations. Everything happens locally
in your browser. The pages you capture and the images you create are
never sent anywhere by Longsnap.
Longsnap requests browser permissions (such as reading the active
tab, running scripts on the page, downloads, storage, notifications,
and clipboard access) solely to perform the screenshot capture, save,
and clipboard-copy features described above. None of these permissions
are used to collect or transmit data.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same
page.
