VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The LMS PTO is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 6:30-8pm. Volunteers may enter the lot at 4:30 for setup. We are thrilled to once again have PTO President Gianni Luciano chairing this event, and hope to make it the best one yet, but we need your help!
THINKING OF VOLUNTEERING A TRUNK? PLEASE CONTACT GIANNI LUCIANO ( 201 280 5838 glucianolmspto@gmail.com) PLEASE READ THE BELOW GUIDELINES FOR TRUNK OR TREAT VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer set up begins at 4:30 pm on 10/16/2026.
Trunks/vehicles may not include violent, inappropriate, suggestive, or gory/demonic decorations. The event is child-friendly. "Spooky" trunks are fine, but please ensure everything is appropriate for children of all ages. We ask that you refrain from overtly religious and political themes as well.
No toy weapons, guns, knives, fireworks, open flames, or flammables are allowed.
Vehicles are to be OFF for the duration of the event. There is NO electricity available.
Costumes are encouraged for those hosting a trunk/vehicle.
Vehicles cannot be left unattended. Please plan on having two people attending each vehicle.
You are responsible for cleaning your area before leaving. Please help our custodians by picking up any wrappers left behind.
You cannot exit the premises while attendees are still in the lot. You must remain after the event to ensure everyone exits safely and to assist with cleaning your immediate area.
This is a drug/alcohol/tobacco/vaping-free event.
No pets are allowed on the premises.
Please bring your own candy/treats to pass out. The PTO will provide 1 bag of candy per trunk, guaranteed* (*possibly more, depending on donations). You must provide candy or small, non-food items (stickers, pencils, etc.) for all attendees. A best-guess estimate of attendees will be provided to you the week of the event. Although it is not a nut/peanut butter-free event, we're hoping for a few nut-free trunks, so please indicate if you can commit to passing out nut-free treats.
Please remember a bucket or bin for the candy/treats you will distribute at the event.
