Long Island NCGR has been the Islands astrological community "Place" for Astrological, Metaphysical  Conversation, and Learning since 1971. Times have been difficult since covid. Some members dropped out. Others moved to the internet to make a name. The LINCGR has held live meetings monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month as the NCGR changed.  

As Always LINCGR meetings cost remain the same with refreshments: Members  $15 for non-members $20 !!!

Grace Lopez: Astrologer, past Secretary, and Current Vice President LINCGR. Licensed Occupational Therapist (NY/CT), certified by NYS Dept. of Health in Early Intervention. Astrologer, Certified Sound/Chakra/Crystal Healer, Advanced Reiki III Practitioner.  certified in Rehabilitation Tai Chi and Therapeutic Arts Life Coaching, Kundalini Yoga/Drumming. Grace studied with Monty Taylor. She studied with: Forum on Astrology with Robert Corre Methods of Jeane Babtiste Morin.  Grace is the LINCGR Educational Committee Chairperson.

Adrienne Mahoney: Adrienne has been studying astrology for over 10 years. Served as a Secretary of the LINCGR.  Adrienne has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a certified School Counselor. Adrienne is a certified Reiki Master and Teacher who incorporates crystals, plants and oils into her practice. Adrienne is actively involved and serving her community via work in the astrological, and metaphysical community. 

Sara Napuri-Moy: Astrologer, past Vice President LINCGR and eternal student of the universe. Certified Feng Shui Practitioner, Certified Reiki Master, Certified Astrological Palm Reader, and Certified Integrative Wellness coach. Sara is also a psychic medium and a tarot & card reader. Her focus is helping individuals navigate personal transformation, life transitions through holistic healings. Sara serves her community sharing her knowledge at events in her local library, and community metaphysical centers.

Jamie Forbes: Second-generation Astrologer for 40 years.  NCGR Level I Certification. Completed NCGR Level II coursework. A member of the AFA, OPA, and NCGR. Advisor to the LINCGR board, Vice President, and Chapter president LINCGR. Degrees: BA: Universal Language as a Metaphor in Art, Philosophy, and Mythology, MFA Eco-Awareness, Photographic Theory, and Environmental Ethics. Certificates of course Completion at the Center, The Applied Jungian Studies ~The Jungian Mystery School, the Magnum Opus: Citrinitas, The Sacred Marriage. The Long Island NCGR (LINCGR) is a chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) a 501c3 organization dedicated to the study of astrology. This approach is rooted in historical and mathematical observations, moving beyond popular misunderstandings to explore the  correspondences between life on Earth and cosmic cycles.      

The national NCGR was founded in 1971, with the Long Island Chapter formed on September 10, 1987. LINCGR history of hosting distinguished experts included Robert Hand, Anne Ortlee and many others. Recent presentation experts includes John Marchesella, Armand Diaz, and Ray Grasse, and Jackie Selvin.. We remain committed to the enlightenment offered by the study of astrology.

RETROGRADES AND STATIONS AND ECLIPSES!  OH, MY! The Transits of 2027

John Marchesella will offer what has become his annual presentation for NCGR-LI on the key dates and planetary themes for the new year. 

No, this is not predictions for 2027.  Instead, it is a way of preparing for the more stressful times of the year and how to cope with them in your own lives as well as how to counsel your clients with them.  It will also help with organizing the new year to save yourself a lot of work later on.

No politics.  No judgments.  Just astrology and how best to use it in our lives.  

Also, since the presentation is taking place so close to the stations of Mercury and Venus as well as the beginning of the shadows of Mars retrograde AND a trigger time for the eclipses, it will help us experience the planetary themes IRL!  Egads!
