Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

John 12:24

Something seems a little off...

Have you ever been adding salt to a meal you were preparing and the lid of your salt shaker popped off? Too much salt in a dish can certainly make it a little "different.”Just like food can be ruined by too much salt, the gospel can be distorted by adding to it. In the book of Galatians, Paul is dealing with a group of people who are trying to add to the gospel. Paul uses reason and God's Word to try to correct the issues of the day that were being tacked onto the message of Jesus. In our society, there are a number of modern issues that people are trying to add to the gospel as well. Like Paul, we need to check to make sure we haven't bought into a "different gospel." Hope to see you this Sunday as we begin our study of the book of Galatians.

Did you read the fine print?

Have you ever had someone tell you that something was the truth, but because of the emphatic way that they were saying it you were pretty sure it wasn’t? In a world of fine print and hidden clauses, it can seem difficult to find the actual truth. This week we will be jumping into a series that shows us what the Bible says about truth. We hope you can be there for "It's The Truth."
