Room Parent Responsibilities 

*In charge of prepping items, leading, and organizing room parties

*Available to be in attendance for daytime class parties (2 total) - This is typically a Fall (Halloween) and Valentine's Party

*Able to keep communication with teachers and other room parents

*Teacher gift opportunities (birthday, holidays, teacher appreciation etc)

*Assist in any other PTA events, fundraisers, and programs when able.

September 25th @ 6 PM in the LJE Library- Room Parent Fall Party Planning Meeting

October 28- 6-8 PM @ LJE Front Door- Fall Party Supply Drop Off

October 29- 2-3 PM @ LJE - Fall Classroom Parties  (Set up @ 1:30  Early Childhood Party times will be different)

January 8 @ 6 PM in the LJE Library- Room Parent Valentine’s Party Planning Meeting

February 11- 6-8 PM @ LJE Front Door- Valentine’s Party Supply Drop Off

February 12th- 2-3 PM @ LJE - Valentine’s Classroom Parties  (Set up @ 1:30  Early Childhood Party times will be different)

(The planning meetings are times to briefly go over room party expectations and for room party teams to meet and start planning. We would love to have all head at assistant room parents at these meetings to get the ball rolling, and then they will communicate the plan with the rest of the team. )
