This will take place on Thursdays 16:00 - 17:00, at Imperial College London in room RODH 3M02 in Roderick Hall.
We will be looking at the Perelman-Thurston geometrization theorem, which among other things resolved the Poincare conjecture in dimension three. The reference text will be Martelli’s book, which can be found on the Arxiv here.
