Royalty has been deeply rooted London’s history ever since the city was founded. After all, it is the capital of the United Kingdom and was also once the seat of power of the royal family. As such, touring the different royal palaces and other related spots in the city is a must # visit while a resident at London House Hotel Kensington Garden Square.
But there is a way that you can make your first trip to these palaces even more eventful as well as the next few ones. That is through purchasing a Royal Palace Pass.
What’s a Royal Palace Pass?
The royal palace pass has a rather simple premise: it gives you free access to the four historic royal palaces located across London. These are the Tower of London, the Banqueting House, the Kensington Palace, and the Hampton Court Palace.
With a royal palace pass, you would be able to have full access to all places that have been open to the public inside each palace. This way, you should be able to appreciate the history, architecture, and art contained within these buildings more.
However, not all passes are the same. There are 4 types of royal palace passes available, and these are:
1. Central London Pass - Priced at £46.00, this pass should give you access to the Tower of London, the Banqueting House, and the Kensington Palace but only for one time each.
2. Three Royal Pass London - This pass gives you access to the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, and Kensington Palace. The pass is at £60.00 and each palace can only be visited once.
3. Four Royal Pass London - At £66.00, this pass gives you access to all four royal palaces. Each palace can also only be visited once per pass.

How to Use Your Royal Palace Pass
Royal Palace Passes are available in several select tourism offices. Once you purchase a royal palace pass, you will receive an email with a headout voucher. This voucher can then be printed or downloaded on to your mobile device which you would then present at the entrance of either of the royal palaces.
Upon presentation, you will be given the physical royal palace pass which also activates it. From that point on, you can use the pass to visit the remaining palaces that the pass is allowed at.
Sadly, you cannot cancel or transfer the pass after purchase. Your only option is to purchase another pass which includes a tour to the palace of your choice and give the pass to someone else.
Validity
All Royal Palace Passes are valid for a 24-month period after activation. This means that they will expire within 2 years after purchase regardless if you actually visited any of the palaces or not.
Thus, you have a choice. You can either go through all the palaces the pass is allowed at in a one-time trip or use it for different palaces every time you find yourself in London over the next 2 years. Either way, the royal palace pass can help you get to these palaces with ease and tour the best of what the English monarchy has to offer.
