SADE
Sade is one of the hamlets in Rembitan village, Pujut, Central Lombok. This hamlet is known as a hamlet that maintains the customs of the Sasak tribe. The Sasak Sade tribe is already famous among tourists who come to Lombok.
The local Tourism Office made Sade a tourist village because of the uniqueness of Sade Village and the Sasak tribe that inhabits it. Despite being located right next to a smooth asphalt highway, the residents of Sade Village in Rembitan, Central Lombok still hold on to the authenticity of the village. It can be said that Sade is a reflection of Lombok's indigenous Sasak tribe. Although electricity and the government's National Program for Community Empowerment (PNPM) program have entered there, Sade Village still displays the atmosphere of Lombok's original indigenous village.
It can be seen from the house buildings that seem very traditional. The roofs are made of palm fiber, the roof horses use bamboo without nails, the walls are made of woven bamboo, and the floor is directly on the ground. The Sasak Sade people call the building bale. There are eight bales, namely Bale Tani, Jajar Sekenam, Bonter, Beleq, Berugag, Tajuk and Bencingah. The bale is differentiated based on its function. There are 150 households in Sade. In the past, many residents adhered to Wektu Telu Islam (only three prayers a day). But now, many Sade residents have left Wektu Telu and embraced Islam fully.
Uniquely, the villagers have a special habit of mopping the floor using buffalo dung. In the old days when there was no cement plaster, the Sasak Sade people applied buffalo dung on the floor of the house. Now some of us have made cement plaster first, and then smeared buffalo dung. It is said that this way, the floor of the house is believed to be warmer and kept away from mosquitoes. Just imagine, the dung is not mixed with anything except a little water.

For example, when it's hot, this house will still feel cool and vice versa. When night falls, this house will feel warm.
The next uniqueness owned by this village is that being proficient in weaving is a mandatory requirement for women to get married. For Sukarara Village girls, the mandatory requirement for marriage is to be good at weaving. So, do not be surprised, if from a young age the girls in this village have been good at weaving. At least the girls will feel at home to sit for a long time with their mothers or grandmothers to learn how to weave yarn and make beautiful fabrics and then sell them as souvenirs typical of this village. Uniquely, the design of Kendhil Maling does not allow the water in the kendhil to escape when the kendhil is put back.
The pottery is made from clay and water that is easily available in the area around the village.
