I recently was gifted a Logitech G Pro Keyboard. I started to mess around with the lighting profiles but am not any good at creating custom ones. I was wondering if someone here knows a source where people upload their lighting profiles to download.

Ok. So I'm very new to DCS. I just got my X56 HOTAS and I'm trying to understand what I need to do to get all set up. Logitech provides some programming software and a profiles pack. The documentation about exactly how to use it is lacking in detail, to be very kind. There is no base profile for DCS, but there is a profile named Lock_On_X5x. I have no idea what's in it. Then DCS has its own set of configuration settings.

In any event Target is neither easier or harder to master than SST so you've still got a hill to climb in that regard unless you want to go with pre-made stuff. That has the advantage of being easy but the disadvantage of not being your baby made with love and care exactly as you want. You can of course do this with either HOTAS so things might seem a push but it isn't so, there are many more profiles for the WH available so that's a WH win if you're going to run something from the community.

I'm an engineer which I suppose in this context means I'm not an expert in a related field. As a layman I can say with confidence I've used both better and worse software than what's on offer here. In both cases there is a PDF available which can be easily found and downloaded and to program either HOTAS to full advantage they have to be perused in moderate detail. In both cases it wasn't enough to answer all my questions and I was forced to go to further lengths (Youtube, forum dives, etc.) to get the information I needed to create custom profiles. In neither case was any stock profile that came with the software what I wanted and in both cases the only the only way to what I wanted was to learn to use the software. The time invested learning the software for either was much the same and both required doing research outside of the provided materials. Once I did learn how to use either software a profile can be created in either with roughly equal ease.

I use the G910 keyboard and had a lot of profiles for my games installed. I just opened Overwatch and noticed that the RGB lighting isn't working as intended and the macros don't work anymore. So I checked the LGS and boom! all my profiles are gone! What? Where are they, Logitech? Anyone with a similar problem? Can I get my profiles back? I don't wanna start from scratch again because it took me a long time to set 'em all up.

I see that the software supports profiles, but my problem is i am not sure how to switch between them, as in a meeting i don't necessarily focus, my windows on the meetings app, and instead usually work int he same applications as I do when not in a meeting

Then, I created 2 profiles with the settings I want. The Default profile with the regular settings for all I usually do (like your Normal mode). A profile for being On a Call (like your meeting mode). I set this On a Call profile to be active when I execute the script I created before and checked the "Lock profile while game is running" option.

Essentially, you could use any other program you run while you're in a meeting, but I don't really have a program that running for that and using Lync.exe doesn't really work as each time I focused on it the profiles would change, so I ended up creating a tiny program that would serve this purpose.

LGHUB keeps crashing and resetting, and I lose all of my profiles, macros, settings, etc. I haven't found any way to save settings or mouse profiles, and can't find where they are saved in Finder. Please help, god someone please I don't want to re program my profiles for the 20th time and no that is not an exaggeration.

Silly question. Did you SAVE the profile with a new name when you modified it? You will need to create separate profiles for 1, 2 and 4 engines. plus simple and complex (included mixture) for single and twin-engined aircraft.

I have the same issue like REDBULLswe, have new computer, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo and even if I made my own profiles for diferent combinations of engines, I am not abble to change profile in game. I see my profile in settings, but not in plane.

Just purchased the Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo and I get exactly the same problem: the only profiles that appear are the DEFAULT profile despite having created a custom profile by using the PRESET manager of MSFS2020.

I hope this problem would have been solved by AEROSOFT, HONEYCOMB and/or MSFS2020 since this topic was first posted.

Any idea how to solve this problem?

Glad I found this forum. Spent about 2 hours banging my head creating the controller profiles. Back to Xplane 11 till this is sorted out.

I've been having an issue with Logitech Gaming Software where my the profiles stored on my computer are completely disappearing, this has happened 3 times now and it is extremely annoying since it takes me a long time to come up with each profile and set in-game bindings as well as the mouse bindings. Because of this issue, I'd like to back up these profiles, but I do not know which file/folder I should, but I think it is possible because I remember reading about something that could be backed up then restored to save the automatic detection profiles used in Logitech Gaming Software a while ago.

This has been an issue for me for a while. Every time I launch a game that has a supported gaming profile, the colors of all my peripherals go to the default cyan/blue solid color. It only changes when the game closes and goes back to the desktop, with the default desktop profile. This did work when I first had the keyboard a long time back, but now I cannot get the gaming profiles to load properly. I tried everything suggested in the threads below, which consists of uninstalling the app, deleting any folders leftover in AppData, ProgramData, and the registry. Then rebooting and installing fresh again, only to have the issue happen again. PC starts up, G Hub loads my default desktop profile (works fine), I start up a supported game like Assassin's Creed Vahalla, and then all my peripherals default to the cyan backlight color and never change until the game exits.

I have a g502 with 3 custom profiles setup for it. I want to use those 3 profiles in all games and never any other profiles but ghub keeps switching the profiles automatically to random stuff that it thinks I want to use for games. Is there anyway to prevent this? I cannot seem to find a way to disable it other than turning on onboard memory profiles but the macros I setup don't seem work with on board memory profiles.

EDIT: I found a solution: Basically for each game if you go to "manage profiles," click on the game, and then click on "Settings" you can toggle "Profile Switching" to disabled and then g hub will no longer switch profiles automatically.

9) I could answer number 9 for you with a "workaround" that I learned from this forum a couple years ago, that involved switching profiles. Switching profiles now takes a visible amount of time on my system however, where it might not on your "fresh" system, which makes this method useless.

1) I don't think so. It would be cool if I could learn an answer for this in the forum. Remember also that the Actions Library is either screwed or has been screwed in the past. If you want an action in 3 profiles, you have to copy it to the 3 profiles. If you change the action or improve it, you have to copy it back and delete the other copies and reassign them.

Nothing wrong with hi-jacking an empty thread lol. I recently had to install my old logitech keyboard because my corsair one broke (since replaced at the store and a new purchase date set in case this one breaks too) and logitech have also updated their software so it's a lot slower and messier than it used to be!

Yeah i haven't used the actions library yet as I don't have anything that is the same on other profiles, though if i use your workaround for 9) i suppose it would be useful on the profile switches for the commands that don't change. I'll have to try it out :) Especially to see if the profile switch has a delay

Yeah for 1) I saw other people looking for this too but no answers on it, is a pretty basic thing to want to set a keybind across all profiles! Makes me wonder what the programmers making icue use it for that they don't want it..

I recently got a g502. It is a great mouse and i love it. But g-hub is driving me crazy. If i open a game it starts the profile for another game. For example every time i start fortnite it start the bf 5 profile. I tried creating manual profiles and adding new paths but nothing happens. Please help Edit: i checked all other games and it works correctly. The problem is only with forntite and Battlefield 5

On my PC the headset is working without problems. But on my laptop not. At first I could not select the headset as input and as output on the same time. If I choosed one of it, the other one was switching. Then I installed pavucontrol and checked the problem. After I boot my laptop there are only 5 profiles in the pavucontrol configuration tab for my headset:

These are missing on my laptop directly after boot. I think thats the reason why I can't select the headset as input and output at the same time. Only sometimes, when I unplug the switch from my laptop and plug it in again, this profiles appear and I can select them and then I can select the headset as input and output at the same time. But when I reboot then, they are missing again.

Please note that the function of the profiles is not to make the controller work in the game (as that is accomplished by using the game's own control configuration screens). Instead they merely allow you to adjust the button configuration of your controller externally to the game. e24fc04721
