Welcome to Logicook ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, username, and authentication ID.
User Content: We collect the recipes, photos, posts, collections, and comments you upload to the App.
Item Sharing Data: When you use our internal sharing system to send recipes, collections, or posts to mutual followers, we process these sharing events to deliver the items to the recipient. Note: Our sharing system does not support free-form text messaging.
Safety & Moderation Data: To ensure user safety, we collect data on content or users you report, and the list of user IDs you have blocked.
Device Permissions: We request access to your device’s camera and photo gallery to allow you to upload recipe photos and profile pictures. This data is only processed when you explicitly choose to upload an image.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
Provide, maintain, and optimize the Logicook service.
Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
Display your recipes, posts, and profile to the community, and route your shared items to your mutual followers.
Enforce Safety: We use report and block data to identify bad actors, review content violations, enforce our Terms of Service, and permanently ban users who post objectionable content.
Respond to your customer service and support requests.
AI Services: To process your queries sent to the "Chef Bot" AI assistant.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with trusted third-party service providers to help us operate the App:
Google Firebase: We use Firebase for authentication, database hosting (Firestore), and media storage. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use cookies and unique device identifiers (Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads based on your interests. Spoonacular API: We use the Spoonacular API to search for and display third-party recipes. Search queries you enter may be sent to Spoonacular to retrieve results. You can review Spoonacular's terms at https://spoonacular.com/terms.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
User Content & Sharing History: Retained until you delete the content, clear your sharing history, or delete your account.
Deleted Accounts: If you request account deletion, your profile, personal data, posts, and active sharing relationships are permanently removed from our active databases within a reasonable administrative timeframe, subject to legal obligations.
6. Your Rights (GDPR & Global Compliance)
Depending on your location (including the European Economic Area), you have the following rights regarding your data:
Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten") via the account settings in the App or by contacting support.
Right to Rectification: You can update your profile information directly within the App.

7. Children’s Privacy
Logicook is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.
