I am fully aware of the timeline of Saleae logic v1 and Windows 11. I have been using Saleae logic since the very first Logic 8 and the even older Windows 7 Aero style GUI that predated the QT-based GUI; I own the Logic 8, Logic 16, and Logic 16 Pro; if a Logic 32 Pro existed, I might be tempted to get that too =P. I was merely asking if anyone has encountered this issue, or if it might have been an issue on my end. Or maybe someone found a more elegant solution.

I personally use Cmnd + ` to cycle through windows and Cmnd+ w to close floating windows. That way I just hold command down and press w and ` back and forth to cycle and close each open plugin window.

I had the same the problem with installing the software on my windows 11 insider build. I solved it by starting windows with the option to load unsigned drivers (Installing an Unsigned Driver during Development and Test - Windows drivers | Microsoft Docs). With this start option the install worked without any problems.

I've been talking to some engineers (like guys who own pro studios and have been doing it for 20+ years) and some of them are using windows machines (so no logic). In my fairly limited experience anything to do with windows is slow, dangerous and messy. They're talking about bouncing each audio file (there's almost 2000) to a different format so their machines can read it.

Use KMPLAYER. In the input, choose "original", on the output, choose "DolbyPrologic". In the sound card, activate STEREO (which means, tell your PC that you only have two normal spekaers connecter to the main green output). Activate ProLogic in your decoder. Voila! You don't have to encode the movies, just use Kmplayer to output the sound as a prologic sound. It works for me ;D

While using Logic Pro X, change tempo and create new track windows keep popping up randomly and repeatedly, rendering the program useless to where I have to force quit every time I try to do something.

I can't really find anything that's been causing it. Basically after having the program open for about a minute the drop down menu for creating a new track appears. When I try to cancel out of the window, it then opens the tempo window. When I cancel the tempo window, it then just reopens. This process repeats until Logic freezes up and I have to force quit. If I select to create tracks instead of cancel the problem only gets worse and spams even more windows and creates numerous tracks.

What finally solved it for me was turning off voice commands on my computer. It seems like it was interfering with Logic Pro X somehow, because as soon as I closed it I stopped getting glitchy windows.

Once the project starts to grow I get lost in all these resizing windows that always seem to open in a default view that is not optimal for me ? It takes forever to do simple task and going back forth between the arrange page and a third party plugin takes so many clicks that you almost start to cry if you need to readjust something.

I recently had a harsh discussion with Publisher for creating a TOC of a book. Apart from this part being still very unstable with continous crashes, I could not decode the logic of the way the stiles are created/updated by the TOC update process.

So I have a Proliant DL580 G5 server with two RAID controllers. The controller in question is a Smart Array P400, which has 8 disks, split into 4 Arrays (A,B,C,D) each with a RAID 1 logical drive. The server is reporting a disk failure on one of the logical drives, and I would like to backup the files before replacing the failed disk.

What I thought would be a simple task is proving a bit of a pain. How do I identify which windows 'disk' relates to each of the logical drives in the RAID Array? I can't find any properties in diskmgmt.msc that relate to properties in ACU. Whilst I have an idea which one it is, I can't be sure.

Running a quick command like ctrl all show config detail will generate a good amount of controller, array and disk information; including mount points. You'll also see which drives are assigned to which RAID 1 pair and the overall health of each logical drive. Based on this information, you should be able to replace the failed drive seamlessly, but make sure you examine the output first.

Biological systems are difficult to understand complex systems. Scientists continue to create models to simulate biological systems but these models are complex too; for this reason, new reduction methods to simplify complex biological models into simpler ones are increasingly needed. In this paper, we present a way of reducing complex quantitative (continuous) models into logical models based on time windows of system activity and logical (Boolean) models. Time windows were used to define slow and fast activity areas. We use the proposed approach to reduce a continuous ODE model into a logical model describing the G1/S checkpoint with and without DNA damage as a case study. We show that the temporal unfolding of this signalling system can be broken down into three time windows where only two display high level of activity and the other shows little or no activity. The two active windows represent a cell committing to cell cycle and making the G1/S transition, respectively, the two most important high level functions of cell cycle in the G1 phase. Therefore, we developed two models to represent these time windows to reduce time complexity and used Boolean approach to reduce interaction complexity in the ODE model in the respective time windows. The developed reduced models correctly produced the commitment to cell cycle and G1/S transfer through the expected behavior of signalling molecules involved in these processes. As most biological models have a large number of fast reactions and a relatively smaller number of slow reactions, we believe that the proposed approach could be suitable for representing many, if not all biological signalling networks. The approach presented in this study greatly helps in simplifying complex continuous models (ODE models) into simpler models. Moreover, it will also assist scientists build models concentrating on understanding and representing system behavior rather than setting values for a large number of kinetic parameters. 17dc91bb1f
