The PTSA at Loggers Run Middle School is dedicated to ACHIEVING success for LRMS students and building UNITY within the Loggers Run Community!
VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) is a component of the LRMS PTSA in which we work closely together to achieve and unite parent involvement for the success of LRMS students, school and community. Each year volunteers donate hours to Loggers Run Middle School; this represents millions of dollars' worth of services that are donated to our school by YOU (the community).
School volunteers are parent volunteers who are committed to making schools the best they can be. They offer special attention and caring that can inspire students to reach for and realize their dreams. PARENT VOLUNTEERS OFFER A HUGE RESOURCE AND SUPPORT BASE FOR THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY!
LRMS programs and events can only be successful with the help of YOU, our trusted Volunteers! Feel free to volunteer your time and skills where needed. We depend on each and every family. By volunteering your time, you make all the programs successful!
You DO have to be a PTSA member in order to volunteer - please consider joining the PTSA! Your voice and opinion matter - it makes a difference when you speak up! Your voice and ideas can help improve the quality of education for your children and their peers. Get connected with teachers and administration on a familiar basis and be the first to know about important changes the school is thinking about making !
Being part of the PTSA is in no way an obligation to volunteer. However, the more time you take out of your busy day to become involved with your child’s education, the better. Being an involved parent can be as simple as helping your child with homework or even reading together. You don’t have to make PTSA a full-time job to make a difference. However, volunteering occasionally and attending school events really matters. Showing your children you value education will teach them to value it as well.
