Hello!
My name is Logan Rapier and I am a full-time student at Grand Canyon University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Early Elementary Education and Special Education. Upon completion of this degree, I hope to continue my education by attending graduate school at Grand Canyon University.
Since 2020, I have worked as a paraprofessional for Greater Clark County Schools located in southern Indiana. For the first three years, I worked in a self-contained classroom providing students with one-to-one support and assisting them in meeting their IEP goals. At the start of the 2023-2024 school year, I transitioned to a Kindergarten paraprofessional position to expand on my experience in the general education setting. My exposure to both placement settings has helped me learn and grow as an educator. I hope to continue learning and utilizing my experiences to provide a my future students with the best education possible.
My goal as an educator is to support my students in developing academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that all students are capable of achieving great things when given the resources and support needed to grow. I strive to make learning fun and engaging for all students while providing them with the structure and support they need to achieve their goals.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
