LOG DOT Effective date: October 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the LOG DOT mobile app ("LOG DOT", "the app") handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. LOG DOT is provided by White Breeze ("we", "us").
LOG DOT works without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
Everything you record in the app is stored on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your records, and we cannot see them.
The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads.
You can remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase, which is processed by Apple.
The app stores the following on your device only:
Habit LOGs, event LOGs, completion marks, counts, times, and timers
Calendar events, including titles, dates, places, and descriptions
Notes, links, and one-line daily journal entries
Photos you attach to notes (copies are saved inside the app's storage)
App settings, such as language, holiday region, and start screen
This information is not transmitted to us or to any third party by the app. It stays on your device unless you choose to export it.
Your device's own backup feature (for example, iCloud Backup) may include app data, depending on your device settings. That backup is governed by your agreement with the backup provider.
The app lets you export a backup file and import it later. A backup file is created only when you ask for it, and it is shared only through the destination you pick in the system share sheet (for example, Files, email, or a cloud storage app). We never receive this file. Anyone who has the file can read its contents, so store it somewhere you trust.
Photos attached to notes are not included in the backup file.
When you attach a photo to a note, the app opens the system photo picker. The app receives only the photos you select and saves a copy inside its own storage. The app does not access the rest of your photo library and does not upload your photos.
The free version of LOG DOT displays ads using Google AdMob. To deliver, limit, and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as:
Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
Device and app information, such as model, operating system version, and language
Ad interactions, such as impressions and taps
Diagnostic information related to ad delivery
On iOS, the app asks for your permission before any tracking across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not shared and you may see less relevant ads. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Where required by law, the app shows a consent form before ads are requested, and you can change your choice later.
The content of your LOGs, events, notes, and photos is never shared with advertisers.
For details on how Google uses data, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
LOG DOT offers a one-time purchase that removes ads. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID. The app only checks with the App Store whether the purchase exists so that it can remove ads and restore the purchase on your devices.
The app may contact update servers operated by Expo (650 Industries, Inc.) to check for and download updated app code. These requests include technical information needed to deliver the correct update, such as the app version, platform, and your IP address. They do not include the records you keep in the app.
We do not require or create user accounts.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
We do not collect precise location.
We do not use analytics or crash reporting services of our own.
We do not sell your personal information.
Notes may contain links you add yourself, and the settings screen links to our policy and support pages. Opening a link takes you to a website outside the app, which has its own privacy practices.
Your records remain on your device until you delete them. You can delete individual LOGs, events, and notes in the app. Deleting the app removes all data stored by the app on that device. Because we do not hold your records, we cannot recover them for you, and there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
To reset the advertising identifier or limit ad personalization, use your device settings.
LOG DOT is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because your records are stored only on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app. For data processed by Google for advertising, you can use the tracking and consent choices described above and the controls Google provides.
Your records are stored within the app's private storage area on your device, protected by the security features of the operating system. No method of storage is completely secure. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping exported backup files in a safe place.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy on this page. Significant changes will be described on this page.
