The Land of Enchantment Book Award is designed to encourage the youth of New Mexico to read outstanding books of literary quality. A committee sponsored by the New Mexico Library Association and the New Mexico Literary Association selects four lists of books: Roadrunner (Grades K-3), Coyote (Grades 3-5), Lizard (Grades 6-8) and Black Bear (Grades 9-12). Find the current nominees under the Roadrunner, Coyote, Lizard, and Black Bear tabs. In the spring, New Mexico youth who have read the required number of nominated books from one of the lists vote on their favorite.
