The Land of Enchantment Book Award is designed to encourage the youth of New Mexico to read current books of good quality.  A committee sponsored by the New Mexico Library Association and the New Mexico Literary Association selects four lists of books appealing to a wide range of readers: Roadrunner (ages 4 and up), Coyote (ages 8 and up), Lizard (ages 11 and up) and Black Bear (ages 14 and up). Look for the  2026-2027 Nominees under the Roadrunner, Coyote, Lizard, and Black Bear tabs.
