Welcome to Lockrypt ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how Lockrypt, developed by Blockr Lab, handles your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
At Lockrypt, we are committed to protecting your privacy. Unlike many other apps, we do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your personal data or credentials. Your privacy and security are our top priorities.
By using Lockrypt, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Lockrypt is designed with a zero-knowledge architecture and privacy-first approach. We want to be clear about what we DO NOT collect:

All data you enter into Lockrypt is:

Never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers
Never backed up to the cloud
Completely inaccessible to us, even if we wanted to access it
While Lockrypt does not collect your personal data, the app does display advertisements to support free access to the app. These advertisements are provided by third-party advertising partners.
Our advertising partners may collect certain technical information to serve relevant ads:
Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
IP address
Device type and operating system version
App usage data (such as how often you open the app)
Ad interaction data (clicks, views, impressions)
None of your vault data (passwords, credentials, encrypted messages) is ever shared with advertisers
Advertising identifiers are anonymized and cannot be linked to your vault contents
You can opt-out of personalized advertising through your device settings:
iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Your security is paramount to us. Lockrypt implements industry-leading security measures:
All data stored in the app is encrypted using military-grade encryption algorithms
Encryption keys are derived from your PIN or biometric authentication
Without your PIN or biometric, data cannot be decrypted
Biometric Authentication: Use fingerprint or face recognition to protect your vault
PIN Protection: Set a custom PIN that only you know
No Backdoors: We do not have a "master key" or any way to access your data
All data remains on your device
No cloud synchronization
No server-side storage
Complete offline functionality
You have complete control over your data:

Tap on Clear Data or Delete All Data

Important: Once you delete your data, it is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. We do not have backups of your data.
If you uninstall Lockrypt from your device, all data stored in the app will be permanently deleted from your device.
Lockrypt does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect personal data, the app can be used by individuals of all ages. However, parental guidance is recommended for minors using password management tools.
Since Lockrypt stores all data locally on your device and does not transmit data to servers, there are no international data transfers of your personal information.
The only data that may be transferred internationally is the anonymized advertising data collected by our third-party advertising partners, as described in Section 2.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Access: Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to provide
Right to Deletion: You can delete all your data anytime through the app settings
Right to Opt-Out: You can opt-out of personalized advertising through your device settings
Right to Data Portability: Your data never leaves your device, so it's always with you
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights. However, since we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information, these rights do not apply to data stored in Lockrypt.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR. However, since Lockrypt does not process your personal data, these rights are not applicable to your vault contents.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons.

Your continued use of Lockrypt after changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Lockrypt may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as our website or support resources). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.
In the unlikely event of a security breach affecting the app (not your encrypted data, which we cannot access), we will:
Investigate the incident thoroughly
Notify affected users if required by law
Take immediate steps to prevent future breaches
Important: Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, even in the event of a breach, your encrypted vault data would remain secure and inaccessible.
