Upgrading Viaduct lights downtown Malvern

In 2016, the City of Malvern contacted us with an interest of upgrading the viaduct lighting just North of downtown to have more efficient and maintainable lighting. Not only did they achieve the goal of energy efficiency, they also were much brighter than before making this area much safer!
New Services
What this is: This is a 320 amp service equipment with surge protection for a new home with receptacles on the side for construction workers to have access to power while the house is under construction. These will also come in handy for the owner as they may utilize them for exterior activities such as landscaping, power washing, and much more!
Options: To keep the area neat the customer chose the underground service from the electric utility company to the electrical panel. If the customer had chosen to continue with overhead, the utility company would have had to place power poles in their front yard due to the distance from the main line to the meter panel. From the meter panel, we continued underground to the home breaker panel to maintain the neat power distribution to their home.
Customization: We added solar powered lights to illuminate the structure at night.
We can troubleshoot control panels!
What does that include? We service, troubleshoot, and repair a wide vavariety of equipment such as: wastewater pump systems, air compressors, electric motors, and many more!
Stand-by & Portable Generators
Unfortunately, power outages are more frequent than ever. We install stand-by generators to make those outages more comfortable. With a generator, there is no need to worry about your loved ones staying warm, cool, or being able to power their necessary medical equipment. Our trained electrician will guide you through the process and help determine the type and size of generator needed to sustain your needs.
Another great option is a portable generator. This is a cost-effective way to have electricity during a utility outage.

Water Damage to Home through the service conduit
Hmm... That can't be good
Watch where you dig!
You Never Know Where Electrical Lines May Be!
What is it? This was a service call from a homeowner that had water coming into their home that had ruined some of their walls and floors!
Who do you call? After several failed attempts to find a solution by other contractors, we were recommended to the homeowner.
Our investigation: After gathering information about the occurrence, we started at the exterior of the home investigating the service conduit. After placing a water hose in the lawn uphill from the house to simulate a heavy rain, we saw the water coming from the conduit going up the wall and into the meter base and though a nipple into the wall of the house.
What did we do? We located the path of the electrical line, which you can see in the where the three red painted lines are. Upon this, we found that its path lead straight into a newly landscaped area where a tree had been planted right on top of the electrical line! To find the source of the water, we dug around the tree to remove it from the ground and revealed the break in the conduit. Once this was located, the utility company repaired the break and put an end to water going into the home.
It is extremely important to locate underground utilities before digging.
Something is Not Right Here...
The danger of not having a licensed electrician is having a hazard like shown in the photo. Receptacles are common items in homes, business, and public areas which is why it is important that the person installing them is a trained professional.
If you notice, there is a green wire going from the metal box to the incorrect terminal on the receptacle energizing the metal box. An equipment ground conductor was not present. This is one of many reasons why you should call a professional to install any electrical items and equipment.
Public Utility Systems
What is it? This is a rebuild of a wastewater grinder station from a repeat customer. We installed a new stainless-steel control panel, float switches, pumps, manual generator transfer switch, and new stainless-steel structure.
We work with several municipalities to install, maintain, repair, and upgrade all kinds of pump systems, testing equipment, safety devices, hoist, heaters, etc. We, also, service manufacturing plants, lumber mills, and many other similar applications.
You have to have lights in the She (or He) Shed!
We installed a new meter service to provide power to this shed for lights, receptacles, etc. The exterior light on the pole is an antique fixture the customer had. We rewired the fixture and installed an energy efficient LED lamp. This illuminates the entire area around the front and side of the shed.
These are great for so many things whether it is storage, hobbies, or even a tiny home!
Industrial Fans
We install large industrial fans and controls indoor or outdoor!
This particular customer has had us install several of these and loves them.
