Monthly Saturday Morning Prayer Meeting

The next Morning Prayer Meeting will take place on Saturday, 7th November, at 9.30am in the Church Hall. Tea and Coffee, and an opportunity for a short time of informal fellowship will follow immediately afterwards. All welcome.

Men’s Breakfast

The men’s breakfast will be held on October 31st at 9.30am in the Community Centre. All men connected with the congregation are most welcome to attend.

Property Collection

A property collection will be held at the close of both services on Sunday 1st November.

Encouraging Women

Following on from our discussions earlier in the summer, we are currently looking at some of the women in the New Testament. Meetings are all planned for a Tuesday and all are in the Church Hall - morning meetings every 2 weeks, evening meetings alternating with WfM events.  All women in the congregation and in the wider community are warmly invited to come along to these very informal bible studies.

Annual Blythswood Shoebox Appeal

Filled shoeboxes can be dropped off at the church hall by Tuesday 27th October.

Leaflets are available at the door of the church.

Priseil Ladies – Afternoon of Fellowship   

The Prìseil Ladies will be holding an Afternoon of Fellowship on the afternoon of Saturday 14th  November from 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.  This event will take place in the Rev. M.A. Macleod Memorial Hall on Kenneth Street.   We are delighted that Rosie Morgan who was our speaker at the Ladies Conference in June 2025 will bring us a message for Advent via Zoom entitled "Promises, Plans and Purposes".  We want to encourage any ladies who would like to join us that afternoon to do so.  We hope and pray that it will be a time of blessing for us all.  Please use the link below to complete and submit your booking form.

Sound and Computer Help

We are in need of people to help assist with the sound and computer duties in the church, especially for funerals and any other week day services. Training and guidance will be provided. Without any volunteers for this important duty then services will not be streamed and microphones will not work during these week day services.
