Last updated: February 2024
Localsville is a local marketplace platform dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth through local entrepreneurship. These terms and conditions govern the use of the Store Management section of Localsville, outlining guidelines and responsibilities for store owners, managers, and employees. By accessing and using this section, you agree to comply with these terms.
Any registered Localsville user can create a store or manage an existing store.
Each store may have multiple locations (branches) as determined by the store owner.
Store owners and managers can invite and hire local employees to operate store locations, helping create job opportunities within their communities.
Stores may list and sell a wide variety of products and services.
All listed items are eligible for delivery within a 100-mile radius of the store location.
Store owners are responsible for ensuring that all products and services comply with local, national, and international laws.
Selling illegal items or offering prohibited services is strictly forbidden.
Stores must process and fulfill customer orders and appointments in a timely manner to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Orders must be confirmed within 24 hours of customer payment; otherwise, the order will be automatically canceled. Repeated failures may affect the store’s standing on Localsville.
Localsville is committed to supporting local businesses by eliminating direct fees for business owners. Instead of charging businesses, Localsville adds a 10% service fee to each product or service price, which is paid by the customer.
This model ensures that businesses can grow without worrying about platform fees, while Localsville continues to provide high-quality services, including customer support, marketplace maintenance, and promotional opportunities.
Localsville acts as a payment facilitator for store sales made through the platform. By using Localsville, store owners agree to the following payment processing terms:
Weekly Payouts: Localsville transfers store earnings (after any applicable deductions, such as refunds) to the store owner’s designated bank account on a weekly basis.
Store owners must provide accurate and up-to-date bank account details to receive payouts.
Localsville is not responsible for failed payouts due to incorrect bank information provided by the store owner.
Stores receive weekly transaction reports with detailed sales, fees, and payout summaries.
Reports are available in PDF format for easy record-keeping.
If a customer requests a refund for a returned item, the refunded amount will be deducted from the store’s earnings in the next payout cycle.
Stores must review their transaction records to monitor refund adjustments.
Store owners are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Products and services must meet safety standards, and businesses must have any required licenses or permits.
Stores must operate ethically, respecting customer rights and fair business practices.
Localsville reserves the right to suspend or terminate any store engaging in fraudulent or unethical behavior.
Store owners and managers are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.
Sharing login information with unauthorized individuals is prohibited.
Localsville uses advanced security measures to protect user and transaction data.
Store owners should take additional steps to secure their accounts, such as using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA).
Localsville reserves the right to suspend or terminate any store’s access to the platform for violations of these terms, unethical conduct, or failure to comply with legal obligations.
Localsville reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to store owners in advance, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Localsville retains all intellectual property rights related to the platform, including the Store Management Section.
Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of Localsville’s content, branding, or technology is strictly prohibited.
Store owners agree to indemnify and hold Localsville harmless against any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their business operations on the platform.
This includes responsibility for products, services, customer interactions, and legal compliance.
Localsville is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to store operations.
Any liability, if applicable, is limited to the amount of service fees collected by Localsville from the store’s transactions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Wyoming.
These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between store owners and Localsville regarding the Store Management Section.
Any waiver of provisions does not constitute a waiver of any other terms.
