Welcome to our LocalNews app! We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is kept secure. This privacy agreement outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. By using our app, you agree to the terms of this agreement. 2.1 We collect information (including but not limited to the 'Internet') about the product and services that you use and how you use them in order to properly provide the core or important features of our product and service, or to improve our product and service, or to provide additional features to our product (such as socializing functions or value-added services and promotions, etc.). Some of the typical reasons that we collect personal data include:

-Provide our product and services, including our app and related website (if any), and improve them over time;

-Allow you to download and purchase products and services;

-Personalize and manage our relationship with you, including introducing you to products or services that may be of interest to you or to provide customer support;

For the other types of information, your refusal to provide or opt-out option may cause you to be unable to access certain specific features or get the best experience.The information we need to collect is as follows:

i. Device information

We collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version etc).

ii.Log information

When you use our product and service or view the content provided by us, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes: Details of how you used our service, such as your scanning number of junk files.

iii.Internet Protocol address

Device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, the date and time of your request and referral URL.

iv. Information from other source

We may collect information about you indirectly from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our services where this is necessary to help manage our relationship with you. 

The information collected by third-party SDKs, including monetization partners such as Google Admob and Facebook Audience Network, as well as analytical tools partners such as Firebase, Facebook Analytics, and our self-built data statistics system, is governed by the providers of these SDKs. As such, we have no control over these third parties and their use of your information.

2.3 Permissions on your device

In providing our product's functions and services, we may need you to allow certain "permissions"on your device, which will enable information collection and usage relevant to those functions. These include the permissions described in the list below (please take note that we may revise and update this list from time to time, for the reasons such as update or revision of our product, technology upgrading such as changes in your phone's operating system, or legal and policy requirements. You can check if such permissions are allowed or not for our product and service, which can be done by checking "Settings – Apps"and / or "Settings – Permissions"in your device, and thereby decide whether each permission will continue to be allowed or will be denied. The specific way to review the status of such permissions and deny them may vary in different devices, and please refer to the notes or instructions provided by relevant device OEMs and OS developers. If you're unable to carry out relevant steps and adjust the settings in your currently-used product or device, please contact us or the OEM of your device.

Please note that when you deny or disable the permissions in whole or in part, it means you have refused to provide related information to us, therefore also making us unable to provide you with those functions relevant to such permissions. To the extent allowed by applicable laws, your decision to deny a certain permission on your device does not affect or invalidate our previous handling of your relevant information which has been based on your prior consent to allow such permission.

2.4 We may also collect and use non-personally identifiable information (Non-PII). Non-PII is information that cannot be used to identify a particular individual. For example, We will collect statistical data, such as the numbers of visits to its website. We collect this data to understand how users use our websites, products, and services so that we can improve our services and better satisfy your needs. We may collect, use, process, transfer, or disclose non-PII for other purposes at its own discretion.

We will endeavor to isolate your personal data from non-PII and ensure that the two types of data are used separately. If personal data is combined with non-PII, it will still be treated as personal data during processing.

5. Your Rights

You have certain rights to control your information as outlined below:

5.1 Right of correction

We will comply with your request to correct incomplete or inaccurate parts of your information, although we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide us.

5.2 Right to be forgotten

At your request, we will delete your information promptly if:

It is no longer necessary to retain your information;

For instance, you want to remove the third-party login relationship from our App.

As for Facebook, when you log in to our App with your Facebook account, we will collect your information such as your Facebook username and avatar. And when you determine to remove your Facebook login relationship from our App, you can go to your Facebook profile and click the Send Request button on the Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites page or check this webpage directly: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications. After you have done this, we will delete your information promptly.

5.3 Right of creating and deleting account

We provide the ability to create accounts using third party accounts, such as Google account. At the same time, we also provide the function of account deletion. You can use the "Delete account" button to carry out this operation. We will clear your relevant information in the app. It should be noted that after you delete the account, the rights and interests related to your account will also become invalid. This operation is irrevocable.

About deleting account information: 1. You can delete all information in me-settings-delete account in the LocalNews application. 2. 6. Changes to the Privacy Agreement

Any information collected will be subject to the Policy in effect at the time of collection. In the event that modifications or updates are made, we will provide you with additional forms of notice as appropriate under the circumstances. Your continued use of our app or services following any changes to the Policy will indicate your acceptance of those changes.
