Filnivo processes images entirely on your device. It has no server, analytics, advertising, telemetry, account system, external fonts, or developer-operated upload service. It makes no network requests to clean your files.
You choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP through the file picker or by dragging it into the image cleaner. The extension reads that file, displays a local preview, and re-encodes it into a PNG. The original filename is used to suggest a new name ending in _cleaned.png. File contents and names are not transmitted to anyone or stored in extension storage.
The selected file and preview remain in memory while the cleaner tab is open. Removing the selection clears the page's references and releases its preview URL. Closing the tab releases that page state. Chrome manages saved downloads and download history according to its own settings.
The only extension permission is downloads, used to offer the cleaned copy through Chrome's Save As dialog. The extension does not read websites, inject controls into pages, request access to your browsing history, or clean files you have not selected.
