LocalDocs Privacy Policy

LocalDocs Privacy Policy Last updated: August 21, 2026

LocalDocs ("LocalDocs", "we", "our", or "us") is a document organization and secure storage application designed to help users store and manage personal documents on their Android devices.

We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your documents under your control.

Documents, images, scanned documents, folders, and secure notes created or imported into LocalDocs are stored on the user's device.

LocalDocs does not upload your documents to our servers and does not operate cloud storage for your documents.

The contents of these documents are not collected by LocalDocs for our own purposes and are not sold or shared by us.

Your documents remain on your device unless you independently choose to share or export them using functionality provided by your device or Android.

Camera access is used for document scanning/capture functionality.

LocalDocs does not use the camera to continuously monitor you.

The application is designed so that documents remain on your device rather than being uploaded to a LocalDocs cloud server.

The application is designed to protect stored content using local security and encryption mechanisms.

Users are responsible for keeping their PIN confidential and for maintaining appropriate backups of important documents.

LocalDocs does not intentionally share the contents of your stored documents with third parties.

If you use Android or another application/device feature to share or export a document, that sharing is controlled by you and may be subject to the privacy policy of the receiving application or service.

Payments are processed by Google Play. LocalDocs does not receive or store your complete payment card, bank account, or other payment credentials.

Information related to purchases may be provided to the application by Google Play so that LocalDocs can determine whether premium features have been purchased.

Google handles payment processing according to its own policies and terms.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

LocalDocs does not use your stored documents for advertising or sell your document information to third parties.

LocalDocs does not maintain a cloud copy of your stored documents.

Because LocalDocs is designed for local storage, uninstalling the application or clearing its application data may permanently remove locally stored documents. Users should maintain their own backups of important information.

You can also remove LocalDocs and its locally stored application data through Android device settings.

Because LocalDocs is primarily a local-storage application, we generally do not possess a server-side copy of your stored documents to delete.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
