Lobster Publishing creates high-interest fiction for students who don’t usually finish a book. Or don’t pick one up at all. Our stories are short, sharp, and built for modern readers who want action, tension, humour, mystery, and emotion without the heavy padding.

Our mission is simple: Make reading feel possible — and enjoyable — for every student.

We write across the genres students actually want and enjoy: action, horror, mystery, fantasy, sports, sci-fi, romance, survival, and the classic school comedy.

Each title is crafted to hook reluctant readers in the first paragraph and keep them turning pages.

To support teachers, every story includes a simple, confidence-building literacy task written in clear, accessible language. These tasks are classroom-ready, Google Docs compatible, and designed for students with diverse learning needs, including EAL/D and support classes.

Lobster Publishing is built by teachers who know the daily reality of the classroom.
