If you want superior underwater performance, hybrid audio clarity, and advanced noise cancellation for calls while swimming or in windy conditions, choose LOBKIN Bone Conduction &; if you need a lightweight, sweat-resistant companion specifically for running and gym sessions on land, choose sunvito Bone Conduction Headphones.
• LOBKIN Bone Conduction &: Offers a unique dual-driver system combining bone and air conduction for richer sound and true IP68 waterproofing for swimming, but it is slightly heavier due to its robust build.
• sunvito Bone Conduction Headphones: Delivers an ultra-lightweight fit with a simple open-ear design focused on safety during runs, though it lacks waterproofing beyond sweat resistance and has no built-in storage.
• Best for: Choose LOBKIN if you swim, need clear calls in noisy environments, or want music without your phone; choose sunvito if you prioritize weight and simplicity for daily cardio.
The LOBKIN X39 stands out immediately because of its hybrid approach to audio. Most bone conduction headphones rely solely on vibrations to transmit sound through the cheekbones, which often results in thin audio with weak bass. LOBKIN integrates both bone conduction drivers and traditional air conduction technology within the same frame. This fusion allows the device to deliver clearer treble and deeper bass than standard competitors, making the listening experience significantly more engaging for music lovers who still want to hear their surroundings. It is not just about hearing the beat; it is about feeling the full spectrum of sound while keeping your ears open to traffic or conversation.
For the serious athlete who dives into water sports, this headset is a game-changer. With an IP68 rating, it is engineered to withstand submersion beyond 1.5 meters in chlorine or saltwater. Unlike many "waterproof" earbuds that only handle splashes, the LOBKIN can be fully submerged for swimming laps, surfing, or snorkeling. Crucially, it features a built-in 32GB storage capacity, allowing you to download up to 8,000 songs directly to the device. You do not need to carry your smartphone to the poolside. When you switch to MP3 mode, the Bluetooth connection disconnects, ensuring your music plays perfectly even when the signal cannot reach you underwater.

However, this versatility comes with a specific trade-off regarding call quality in extreme environments. The unit includes Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and a windproof microphone designed to filter out ambient noise. This makes it one of the few options viable for taking calls while cycling fast or standing near crashing waves. The build uses skin-friendly liquid silicone and weighs 26 grams, which is light enough for all-day wear but substantial enough to house the complex internal sealing required for deep-water use. If your routine involves a mix of land-based training and aquatic activities, or if you frequently take work calls while moving outdoors, this device is purpose-built for you. Conversely, if you never swim and simply want the lightest possible pair of headphones for a quick jog, the extra features here might feel like unnecessary bulk.
The sunvito X29 takes a different philosophy: minimalism and pure focus on land-based movement. At 29 grams, it is slightly heavier than the LOBKIN by a negligible margin, but the design feels less encumbered because it strips away the heavy-duty waterproofing seals and internal storage hardware. It relies entirely on a single bone conduction driver type, which transmits sound directly to the inner ear without blocking the ear canal. This open-ear design ensures you remain completely aware of your environment, a critical safety feature for runners navigating city streets or cyclists sharing roads with cars. The lack of earplugs or sealed cups means there is zero pressure buildup, making it comfortable for long training sessions where ear fatigue is common with other styles.
Its primary strength lies in its connectivity and battery life for daily active use. Equipped with Bluetooth 6.0, it offers a stable wireless connection with a range of up to 10 meters, which is sufficient for most workout scenarios. The battery provides 10 hours of continuous playback, matching the LOBKIN's endurance, so you can power through multiple workouts or a full day of commuting without reaching for a charger. The charging process is equally straightforward, utilizing a magnetic cable that snaps into place for a quick top-up. The IPX6 rating protects against heavy sweat and light rain, which covers the vast majority of gym and outdoor running needs. However, it does not have an onboard media player, meaning you must keep your phone nearby to stream music, nor does it have any noise cancellation for calls, relying instead on the microphone's natural isolation.
This product is ideal for the runner, cyclist, or gym-goer who prioritizes comfort and safety over audio complexity. If you find yourself constantly annoyed by the bulk of waterproof gear or the weight of extra batteries, the sunvito offers a streamlined solution. It is also a strong choice for those who prefer a simpler interface with fewer modes to toggle between. The inclusion of a user manual and a pair of earplugs suggests attention to detail for users who might want to block out some noise occasionally, though the primary design remains open. If your world is strictly land-based—whether you are lifting weights, jogging on pavement, or hiking trails—this model delivers exactly what you need without the premium price tag associated with diving-grade engineering.

After analyzing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the LOBKIN Bone Conduction & for my personal setup. The inclusion of dual hybrid drive technology and the ability to swim with these headphones transforms them from a simple accessory into a versatile tool for a multi-sport lifestyle. Specifically for calls, the environmental noise cancellation gives me confidence that I can communicate clearly even when the wind is howling or I am surrounded by activity, a feature the sunvito lacks entirely. While the sunvito is a solid, no-nonsense option for a runner who just wants to listen to podcasts, the LOBKIN's combination of waterproofing, internal storage, and superior audio clarity makes it the more capable piece of equipment overall. If you are looking for a headphone that works seamlessly for calls whether you are on the track or in the pool, LOBKIN is the logical choice.
Only the LOBKIN Bone Conduction & is rated IP68 for full submersion and includes noise cancellation for calls, making it suitable for aquatic communication in MP3 mode. The sunvito is only IPX6 sweatproof and not designed for underwater use.
With the LOBKIN Bone Conduction &, you do not need a phone because it has 32GB of built-in storage for offline playback. The sunvito requires a Bluetooth connection to a phone or tablet to stream music.
Both models handle moisture well, but the sunvito is specifically designed for sweat and light rain with its IPX6 rating. The LOBKIN offers higher protection (IP68), but both are safe for wet weather running.
Both the LOBKIN and sunvito models provide approximately 10 hours of continuous playback and take about 2 hours to fully recharge using their respective magnetic cables.
