Higugmaay: The Light of Love and Care
A decade-long outreach activity spearheaded by the Leyte National High School - Supreme Secondary Learner Government. This outreach activity is a celebration of camaraderie that gives emphasis on the beauty of the Christmas season. In partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan, this Higugmaay reached out to the indigent learners of Barangay 43-B, Quarry District, Tacloban City, on December 20, 2025 to uplift the spirit of Christmas

A chance for students to show their ideas about social responsibility through filmmaking. Film is a strong tool for storytelling because it can present real-life situations, highlight moral choices, and inspire people to value honesty and do what is right. This contest not only lets students share their talents but also helps them reflect on the importance of values in shaping good character and community.
A testament to the Campus Integrity Crusader’s mission of cultivating a culture of honesty and compassion. By echoing the values of truth and righteousness, the activity reminds everyone that being makatao means choosing integrity at all times—creating a school environment where respect, trust, and good character thrive.
A project that sought to empower the youth to become active advocates for equality, ensuring that the values of respect and inclusivity were deeply integrated into their daily interactions and the broader school culture. It aimed to transform the campus into a gender-sensitive environment where every learner felt valued and supported, regardless of their identity.
An official identification accessory for LNHS students and stands for more than just appearance—it represents a student’s sense of belonging, pride, and responsibility. This small but meaningful gesture promotes discipline, pride, and mutual respect among students. Encouraging the use of the “TATAK Leytean” lanyard is another step toward building a safe, united, and respectful school environment. It supports not only the safety of the student body but also enhances the positive image of Leyte National High School.
The "Handog Leytean: A Uniform Donation Drive," a social intervention project established at Leyte National High School. Designed to address the financial barriers that prevented many students from acquiring appropriate school attire—a challenge that often impacted their self-esteem and active participation in school life.
The Sumat Leytean: Ever Fadeless Voices for Camaraderie establishes a safe and open channel for students to express their thoughts on various aspects of school life—ranging from campus services to administrative practices—without fear of judgment or retaliation. By providing designated drop boxes throughout the campus, the project ensures that students can participate anonymously and voluntarily, allowing them to share honest feedback in a way that respects their comfort and privacy.
Raises students’ awareness of environmental issues and to promote sustainable practices such as reducing waste, recycling, and protecting natural resources. By engaging students in decision-making and action, they develop responsibility, values, and skills that will help them contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment. This project includes sub-activities such as the Clean-Up Drive and selling of pins that are made up of recycled materials using metal bottle caps. Its goal is to reduce the school’s waste footprint and raise awareness among the Leyteans about creative possibilities through recycling.
The "Lingko-Run" was a fundraising marathon organized by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Leyte National High School and the LNHS Alumni Association. The event was designed to advocate for health, camaraderie, and social responsibility while simultaneously generating funds to improve school infrastructure.
A health-centered advocacy program implemented within Leyte National High School to promote a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment. The project aimed to protect the well-being of students and personnel by raising awareness about the multiple dangers of tobacco and nicotine use.
A venue where learners strengthen, develop, and hone their leadership skills by providing meaningful activities that foster growth, responsibility, and teamwork. On the day of the said event, the event gathered all LNHS SSLG officers and coordinating council presidents to engage in discussions, knowledge-sharing, and leadership formation sessions that will enhance their capabilities in leading their respective organizations. It is to be followed by the Leadership Tree Planting, so that not only do they know the importance of leadership and coordination, but also the ground we walk upon.
