I'm a Post Doc (Research Associate) at LISER (Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research).
I hold a PhD from the University of Amsterdam, MPhil from the Tinbergen Institute (Amsterdam).
My research interests are in the field of applied microeconometrics, labour economics and migration.
My research focuses on mobility decisions of workers and firms and the corresponding (local) labour market impacts.
10/2025:
I successfully defended my dissertation entitles "Migrants and Multinationals: Essays on the local effects of globalization". Thanks to the committee for reading and discussing the thesis.
03/2025:
I will join the labor market department at LISER (Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research) as a Research Associate in September 2025.
My first paper "Tax Incentives for Migrants With Mid-Level Earnings: Evidence From the Netherlands" is forthcoming in the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics!
