To my brave auditioning actors,
Thank you so much for your amazing work in the auditions. I was so glad to get the chance to see each of you perform. It takes real guts to do what you have done, especially those of you auditioning for the first time. I am deeply humbled by the bravery and talent I have seen in the past few days. I was overwhelmed by the talent I saw over the last few days. I hope to be able to work with all of you in at least some capacity in the future. We will still need hard working and smart techies backstage and an excited audience in the theatre for this show. We are also still looking for some assistant stage managers.
When casting there is so much for a director to consider. Some students have schedules which keep them from being involved, others were just not the best fit for this specific production. The meeting for students interested in being techies will take place OCTOBER 23rd. Of course EVERYONE is invited and encouraged to come out to our next Drama Club meeting on Wednesday October 2nd, we will be preparing for the first theatre sports competition and talking about the FALL THEATRE EXPO.
