It was an honor to have Dr. Valdovino Gonzalez, Dr. Lopez, and Dr. Rosales share their experience and knowledge with UCSD medical students and undergraduate students! We are grateful to have wonderful mentors shaping the future of medicine!

Mission Statement

The Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) at UC San Diego is dedicated to empowering Latino students in medicine through mentorship, education, and advocacy. We aim to increase representation in the healthcare workforce, address health disparities, and promote cultural awareness. By fostering a supportive community, we strive to develop future leaders who will improve healthcare access and outcomes for Latino communities.
