우리 분자 프로테오믹스 연구실에서는 (PI: 이철주) 다양한 프로테오믹스 실험 방법을 이용하여 여러 생리활성 기전 물질이나 기타 다양한 생체 조건에 따라 그 발현양, 기능, 구조가 변화하는 단백질을 발굴하고 있습니다.

이렇게 찾은 단백질들은 질병의 조기진단 및 예후 관찰, 신약 개발 등에 활용할 수 있습니다.

우리는 또한 생물학 신발견의 기초가 될 유용한 단백체 정보를 제공하는데도 앞장서고 있습니다.

Welcome to Laboratory of Molecular Proteomics, Korea Institute of Science and Technology.

In our laboratory (PI: Cheolju Lee), we are discovering proteins whose expression levels, function, and PTMs change in response to physiological active substances and other living conditions by using various proteomic methods.
These proteins may eventually be used for early diagnosis or prognosis of diseases, and drug development.

We also provide valuable proteomic resources as a basis of biological discovery.
