Battalion Logistics / Supply Officer (S-4)

The battalion logistics officer is responsible for the maintenance, security, record keeping, issue, and turn-in of all government property (except ordinance). The S-4 coordinates the securing of property with the S-2. The S-4 is also responsible for maintaining accountability of all equipment and supplies used by the unit, issue clothing, insignia, and other supply items as directed by the battalion commander, XO, or the instructor staff, etc.
