Allied Health Practices

Allied health professions aid in the health care process by providing direct patient care and support services, including therapeutic, diagnostic and technical services. The category of allied health professions includes, but is not limited to, the following groups: chiropractors, dietitians, dentists and dental hygienists, physical therapists, sonographers, speech pathologists, audiologists, optometrists, paramedics, phlebotomists, podiatrists, and medical dosimetrists.
