What is a Brow Lamination Maintenance appointment
+ Why should you book for one ?
After a brow lamination, the tint will fade and the lift can drop however you have a 6 week wait period between lamination appointments to avoid damage to the brows from the products used. At roughly the 3/4 week mark you may notice that your brows don't look as neat and fresh as you'd like. This is the point you would get a maintenance appointment. During the appointment this is the process you will go through to get your desired brows again:
To start I will give your brows a deep cleanse and exfoliate.
Whilst you have a lamination, there can be a build up of dead skin and residue of products left under the hairs (for example: old fake tan or makeup). This can add to the faded look. This step is crucial to make sure the brows can last looking fresh until they are ready for another lamination.
In step 2, you brows will get a moisturising serum placed on them to soak into the hairs to hydrate them giving them a more natural, health finish. This helps replicate the freshly laminated look and helps the hairs become less stubborn and therefore easier to manage.
Step 3 is mapping!
Mapping the brows helps with the later stages of the appointment as it gives me a guide to get your brows defined, neat, and symmetrical.
Tint Time!!
After mapping, it allows me to have a perfect guide to tint the brows. Tinting the brows is one of two main steps to the appointment as it brings colour back into the brows which has faded over time as well as complimenting the lifted effect and making the brows look fuller and more defined.
And finally, a quick pluck of stay hairs, and a moisturising serum to finish.
This helps emphasise the laminated look as well as giving you the final touches to create the most perfect brows until your next lamination appointment !!
