LME welcomes submissions from both faculty and non-faculty junior scholars (PHD students and postdoctoral fellows) who share its phenomena and methods of interest. Submissions are due on June 21, 2026, and decisions will be notified in July.
LME is an international forum dedicated to scholars who are interested in using the conceptual tools and methods of economics to advance the theory and practice of management. LME promotes frontier research covering the key areas of management – including competitive strategy, contracting & governance, non-market strategy, innovation & technology, and human resource management – through the lenses of industrial economics, organizational economics, behavioral economics, political economy, and other relevant branches of economics. LME also promotes the conversation between faculty and PHD students through both interactive discussions during research presentations and 1:1 mentoring meetings that will take place throughout its duration.
The keynote speakers in this 3rd edition of LME are Mary Benner (University of Minnesota), and Maria Guadalupe (INSEAD).
We expect the decisions to be communicated by email in July. The conference will be held in person.
