LMC Church Family,
What would it look like if 100% of our church body reached out to our local communities over the course of one single weekend?
It would like the us as a unified body fulfilling the Great Commission for the glory of God.
Our Missions & Outreach team is launching this exact effort! The weekend of October 24-25 we will have our inaugural "SERVE" weekend where our goal is to mobilize 100% of our church body on mission for Jesus.

Pray, Give, Go, Receive
We can partner with missional or outreach efforts in four ways: pray with/for them, give contributions in some way, go visit our mission partner to learn and serve alongside them, and/or receive them here at LMC to strengthen the partnership or mission.
These are all ways to partner, and all are important. However, prayer comes first and sustains our missions. We believe that prayer is the keystone to our missions and outreach ministry. Please continue to pray for the efforts and partnerships listed here as well as the unreached and unchurched people on the horizon.

Please Welcome Kristina Killman to church on September 20th during our Sunday School hour. She is th eTMS Global Activate Coach leading a small outreach task force through a deep dive into the theology of missions, missions at LMC, and moving forward with missions here at LMC.
She will be presenting in the sanctuary September 20th from 10:15am - 10:45am.

Breaking Bread for Jesus
Breaking Bread for Jesus
We have commited to serving at Breaking Bread for Jesus (soup kitchen) in Wellford, SC every month. We have a varying team the first Sunday of each month that volunteers to prepare, serve, and pray with the neighbors that come to eat at BBfJ.
Matt Feiling and Paula Duncan coordinate the meals and prep before hand so volunteers are able to show up, help prepare in the kitchen, or show up to serve and pray with the neighbors. Come see what a blessing this ministry is to all who are involved!
Please be in prayer for our Youth Missions teams as they pray, plan and prepare for summer missions this upcoming 2027 season.

Matthew 9:35-38
And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
