My name is Lauren McLaughlin and I currently have the privilege to teach upper-level problem solving and research skills to high school-age students in the Frisco, Texas area. Both courses involve a heavy use of technology, collaboration, and public speaking. I love teaching both of these courses because they look different every year and set the example for student-centered learning.
My undergraduate education began at Texas A&M University, and ended at The University of Texas at Dallas. I received my B.A in Literary Studies and will graduate with my M.S of Educational Technology & Leadership in hopes to become an Instructional Technologist or Digital Learning Coach to support other educators and business leaders in the community.

I recently got married to my College Sweetheart in 2019 and we are raising our 1 year old mini Bernedoodle - Ophelia! She can walk like a human and LOVES the smell of bacon in the morning.
I was my high school mascot, Eli the Eagle, back in the day, and very involved in Student Council!
I am an alumunae of the Epsilon Theta chapter of Delta Delta Delta, and love running 5k's for St. Jude every September! Having to stand up in front of a hundred girls every Sunday evening made engaging students a little bit easier!
