LEE MEMORY AND COGNITION LAB

We are recruiting a full-time lab manager/research technician to start in Fall 2025 for a one-year term, with the possibility of renewal for up to three years. Our research focuses on investigating how the human brain remembers complex naturalistic experiences, utilizing a range of methods including behavioral experiments and functional neuroimaging. The lab manager will primarily work on-site, but will also have the flexibility to work remotely for applicable tasks. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with lab members to conduct human fMRI and behavioral experiments (e.g., participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis)

• Assist with the preparation of IRB protocols, grant proposals, research publications, and presentations

• Train and supervise undergraduate research assistants

• Manage administrative tasks (e.g., purchasing and maintaining lab equipment, coordinating schedules and spaces for lab events, updating lab wiki and website) 

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or a related field

• Experience with computer programming for data analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R)

• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal forms

Preferred qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in a research lab, preferably in Cognitive Neuroscience or a related field

• Experience with conducting fMRI experiments and/or analyzing fMRI data

• Experience with web programming (e.g., JavaScript)

• Ability to work independently and maintain work/life balance
