Postdocs position:
A postdoc position (1-3 years) is available from August 1, 2023, in our group LM2D at the Department of Chemical Engineering, NTHU, Taiwan.
Project focus
Multiscale simulations of organic materials in optoelectronic and energy applications.
Criteria
Potential candidates should
possess a doctoral degree in chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics, or a related field.
be skilled at classical force-field molecular dynamics simulations in materials systems OR/AND quantum chemical computations in organic systems.
be skilled at some of the simulation packages: GROMACS, GAUSSIAN, ORCA, LAMMPS, QChem, VOTCA, VASP, and Quantum Espresso
be good at Python, Linux bash scripting OR/AND C.
possess good English academic writing and communication skills.

Mechanistic study of photocatalytic HER.
Charge transport and excited-state simulations in organic materials.
Electrocatalytic HER/OER/ORR using inorganic catalysts.
Development of computational protocols for multiscale simulations.
