My Philosophy on Education
I believe that education is a key factor to succeed in life. Education can open doors of opportunity (not guarantees) for the betterment of one’s life and situation. Knowledge can come from all places and in all situations at any given time, but the classroom is one of the best places for children and young adults to get an education.
My role in the classroom is to find the best way for students to learn with the use of differentiated instruction. I believe that children don’t just want to learn they love to learn. Once they gain new knowledge, they are eager to share that to anyone and everyone.
My Classroom Philosophy
I believe that the classroom should be and needs to be a safe and welcoming place If a student is going to learn anything. I believe that children want rules and standards, and that they learn best when they are in place and made consistent. The classroom norms can be a gateway for students to learn what good behavior in society looks like. With that said, I should be hold in a higher standard because whether I like it or not, I am a role model for them.
