Lae-Jeong Park  is a professor in the Department of Electronics and Semiconductor Engineering at Kangwon National University (KNU; formerly Gangneung-Wonju National University) in Gangneung, Korea.

He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, and his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea.

Before joining Gangneung-Wonju National University in 2000, he worked as a senior research engineer in the Machine Intelligence Group at the LG Corporate Institute of Technology (LG Electronics), from 1997 to 1999. In 2008, he served as an adjunct research associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA. Since 2005, he has served as an R&D manager at the Gangwon Research Institute of ICT Convergence (formerly known as the Gangwon Embedded System Software Research Center), in Gangneung, Korea. Since 2018, he has also served as AI CTO at MedySapiens, a startup developing machine-learning- and deep-learning-based clinical decision support solutions for genetic disorder diagnosis.
